Who am I?
Celebrating Flagstaff Community
I believe in ensuring that Flagstaff maintains it’s unique character and deep-rooted commitment to our natural surroundings, while also devoting myself to the ideal that Flagstaff’s beauty belongs to and should remain accessible to all members of its community.
Engaging Youth
My earliest memories are of Flagstaff; of my dad building snow forts in our backyard, of walks in the forest with my family, and of going to preschool in the same apartment complex that I live in now. These memories are precious to me, and it fills me with grief that the undertaking of raising a family and building a life in Flagstaff for so many people seems out of reach.
Seeking Transparency
I am devoted to the idea of a Flagstaff that serves all; and importantly does so with honesty and transparency to its residents. Too often in the recent past decisions have been taken without sufficient public input, often resulting in great public backlash. I will always be an advocate for the people of Flagstaff to be in the room when decisions are being made and that their voices are being heard.
Building for This Generation and the Next
Why is a twenty-two year old senior from Northern Arizona University running for City Council? I feel that as a community member in Flagstaff, I have a responsibility to leave this city in a better place than when I arrived here. And I am dedicated to the promise of uplifting those in our community who have been left to the wayside and left feeling underrepresented, and bringing a present of affordability for the next generation.
A New Way of Thinking
I believe my youth would be an asset, not a hindrance, to the discussions and debates of our city council. I would be a tireless advocate for you, the people of Flagstaff, by bringing a fresh and unique perspective to our city government. And as one of 6 members of council I swear that I will leave no vote unjustified, no action unscrutinized, and no session left phoned in. I will give you my all, and I will make certain you are heard and represented on this council.
